PRINCIPLES


In the best interests of the Latino community, the state of Georgia and our nation, these are the principles for the Georgia Latino Complete Count Committee (GLCCC):


1. We work together to promote that all of the Latino Community in Georgia would be counted in the upcoming 2010 Census.

2. We promote the benefits of everyone being counted.

3. Regardless of immigration or citizenship status, we understand that all people living in the United States of America should be counted in the 2010 Census.

4. We oppose to any intent or efforts that do not promote full participation in the 2010 Census.

5. We will work together in a collaborative manner to promote our central message that the 2010 Census is SIMPLE, SAFE and SECURE, and IMPORTANT to all of our communities.

6. We will work to ensure that the Latino community in Georgia will complete and mail back their questionnaires by April 1st, 2010.
















PRINCIPIOS


Con el mejor interés en mente para la Comunidad Latina en el estado de Georgia y en nuestro pais, el Comité para el Conteo Completo de Latinos en Georgia (GLCCC), se compromete a:


1. Trabajar juntos para promover que toda la población Latina en Georgia sea parte, y participe en el Censo del 2010.

2. Promover los beneficios que surgen de la participación en el Censo.

3. Promover que toda persona que vive en los Estados Unidos, sin importar el estatus migratorio, debe de ser contada en el Censo del 2010.

4. Oponerse a cualquier intento o esfuerzo que promueva la no participación de la comunidad en el Censo 2010.

5. Trabajar en colaboración para promover el mensaje central que el Censo del 2010 es SENCILLO, SEGURO, e IMPORTANTE para toda la Comunidad.

6. Trabajar juntos para asegurar que la población Latina en Georgia complete y envíe su cuestionario antes del 1ro de abril del 2010.
